The first in-person meeting with local stakeholders was held in Skopje, North Macedonia, on 18 November, providing an excellent opportunity to present the ongoing development of the new Interim Forest Stewardship Standard for North Macedonia.

After several years in which communications within our team were managed by non-dedicated team members—doing their best within limited time and capacity—we are pleased to announce that, following a very thorough selection process, a new Communications Manager Consultant has joined our sub-regional team, strengthening our capacity and services.

Over the past few months, FSC Adria-Balkan has been actively involved in a series of important regional events aimed at preparing the forestry and wood-processing sector for the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and strengthening sustainable forest management.
